I love to travel.
I had never been to Europe before, and when in Paris, do as the tourists do. Or try to do. I doubt Leonardo da Vinci had a camcorder-crazed stampede in mind when he painted the “Mona Lisa,” but this is what it has become. I admit it, I wanted to see her too. After waiting in an incredibly long line, when you finally get to see the painting, the experience was nearly ruined. I gave up on having a meaningful time, and decided to have a good time. I loved jostling my way into position to try and get the flip screens in focus. I call this photo “Missing the Point.”
